Deltas of Oak Ridge, Inc. (DOOR) was established by a group of women as a public charity supporting educational advancement and public service programs, focused upon the community served with special emphasis on the African American community.
MEET OUR BOARD
Our Board of Directors are committed to protecting and preserving DOOR, Inc.'s assets and leading an organization of excellence.
This leadership focuses on developing innovative ways to leverage its collective knowledge and resources to open access to greater opportunities for the youth and adults of the City of Oak Ridge and surrounding TN counties.
Yolanda Covington Childs
A native of Centreville, IL. Yolanda joined the DOOR Board in 2012. She has previously served in various leadership roles as a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) on the local, regional, and national levels and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. on the local and regional levels. Yolanda earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and a graduate certificate in Entrepreneurial Leadership & M.S. degree from East Tennessee State University.
